Default Lights

My sons go cart lights run when the motor is running, how can i add a toggle switch to have control when there on....

find the ground wire from the lights and add your switch

Wow your good... That's it ground goes on the center prong then or?

without seeing your switch I don't know what prong/prongs- switches come in many configurations!

black toggle 3 prongs on the side of switch it says up on middle off down on

To use that 3 pole,( 3 prong) switch as a simple on/off, splice it into the ground wire leading to the lights, Connect ground wire from source to center prong, connect the wire to lights to either one of the outside prongs. the Switch will work on in one postion. will turn off in either center or other position
