Thumbs up CDI & Coil Install

Here's a video of a CDI & Coil Install on a Joyner 250cc

It's a basic install for all buggies.

The yellow adjustable cdi on this video does not work
good on all buggies. Make sure it does.

I had to use the High Performance CDI for CN250 and CF-Moto engines. The Black MRP CDI for my HH ss 250cc.

Do the 250's use and AC based CDI or DC?

All the 250's use DC powered CDI's.

Some DC CDI's will work on both CFMoto 250's and CN250's.
So ask before ordering.

If you have a SYM250/300, there are no current aftermarket
CDI's for this engine.

None of the GY6 (150cc) CDI's work on the 250's.

I'd love to have one of the Carters but I don't think will fit in the back of my truck in the event that I wanted to ride off of my property. Is a SYM a bolt replacement for any of the 250's meaning if I got a HH 250, and a SYM engine, would it drop right in?

the mounts are in diff locations so it would not be a direct bolt in. I am trying to find a cdi that will work with the syn engine. none of the regular 250 or 150 cdi will work on it.
