Default Mid west ohio 150 helix?

Just picked up my first go kart/ mini buggy. Got a pretty good deal on it I deal, needs a bit of work but doesn’t look too terrible from my brief inspection. My neighbor picked it up for me so I don’t really know much about the state the motor is in but some motor stuff was already pulled apart. Wanting some opinions on wether to do a predator 212 swap or go the big bore kit and rebuild?

IIRC The predator is a 6.5 HP, I think the stock gy6 is 10 HP or more?

Predator is too small for that size buggy. Rebuild the gy6 150.

Neighbor relayed the info from the previous owner, sounds like all I should need is to either repair or replace the wiring harness. So will probably go that route and pick up a big bore kit later.
