YD can weld hub to axle?????????????
axle broke. wondering if weld hub to axle directly to axle, if could get me by for weekend.? anyone do that before on a YD?

The axle can be welded but I've never heard any good results from it. The fix doesn't hold up very long, like in terms of hours, so it's not really worth the trouble. If you weld that hub on then your wasting a good hub and they are getting harder to come by. Plus you won't be able to install or remove the axle bearing cause they slide over the end of the axle.
For about a hundred dollars you can convert to the Azuza axle and still retain your original(4-110) bolt pattern. There's a "how to" thread in the archives.
