Default engine wont run right

i put new auto choke in,got to start an idle good,took it for a ride an when give it full throttle bogs,but if i go slow on throttle builds up speed.went threw some water an died,took forever to start an finaly started so took it home,next day whouldnt start,so pulled carb off cleaned it,was dirty an had gunk in bottom of bowel.i put carb back on,drained old gas put fresh gas in,an got it to start.i had the back off ground to c if can figure out why bogs down,ran good no bogs.took it down street an when give it gas it spits an spuders.put back on blocks an runs good.any help is good.

sounds like it might be the carb float level is off. When you put the rear only up on blocks, the carb is on a different angle than when it's on the ground. If you want to run it on blocks to check, measure your ride height front and rear when sitting on the ground and then block up the front and rear so the whole kart sits at the same angle as when it's on the ground.

ill try that today,the float is plastic an read they are self adjusted

IIRC, this is one of the clone motors? you might want to remove the bowl and put up some pictures of the float/hinge setup before doing anything with it. I know the Tec's call for an 11/64th in. float top-to-carb base gap--not sure what the carb is on the clone or the setting it's specced at.

ok ill take pics an etc,it starts right up an idles fine,idles till i turn it off just when i give it full throttle seems bogs an spits an spuders.

Sounds like it's running rich. Did you replace the jets or anything?

Did it run good before, and out of the blue start running weird?

no everything is stock,i bought it last year,never had time to mess with it till last week.it starts up fine,an idles fine,just bogs an spuders when give it gas.i have a good spark(blue)

It's possible your Fuel Enrichment Valve is stuck in the closed position. It's like your choke is stuck on.
