Default Carter Talon parts

Hi everyone I have just recently come into ownership of a carter talon gy6, unfortunately the kart is not running atm the so im gonna have to be going through a few things to fix it up as of right the battery is dead so i need to start with that. But im not sure where to order a battery for this kart I cant seem to find anywhere online or even know what type of battery this is, all the writing on this battery is another language the only thing i can read is whats on top of the battery in big letters which is GTX9-BS I tried typing that in but im getting results on google.

So im wondering if anyone can shed some light on to where i can get a battery for this kart or if there is a decent site that would sell all the parts i would i need for this kart in the future?

Thank you

You can buy a battery @ Walmart that is slightly smaller that will fit without any mod's to the battery box "ES5LBS". Or get the dimensions of the battery and search that way- the GTX9 =9amp hrs. By looking at the space available you can increase the height, width & depth and find something that will work. Online batteries generally don't come with the acid (can't ship it) So I found buying locally is cheaper. I use riding lawnmower batteries in mine but I've relocated them and the wiring to simplify replacing them and getting LOT'S more cranking amps cheaper. As far as a place to buy parts- it depends on what type of part.

Ok I will look around for something after i take the measurements of the battery box tomorrow. Also is there minimum power output that I need to look for in a getting a new battery for this?

And when I say parts. I mean various engine parts.

See this link for some battery dimensions from Walmart. You can then figure out what will fit in your buggy.

Thanks guys i got the measurement for my today and while at work i was looking around by the outdoor power equipment and found this

http://tinyurl.com/88an6jw

It looks to be able to fit i didn't get a chance to take a tape measure to it while i was at work (and since the dimensions on the site listed are wrong). But im not to fond of wanting to have to fill the battery myself (unless they are like this), i mean don't get me wrong im not to working on engines or anything just never really dealt with go karts are anything i stick more to cars.

So i think tomorrow im gonna check out the ES5LBS from walmart
