Default engine cranking slow

150cc gy6 was cranking good and wanting to start but after a little bit it slowed way down and it was hooked up to a running vehicle so i believe it isn't the battery but after awhile of cranking it slowed down a lot and my starter was hot to the touch, i tried to start it earlier after the starter cooled down and it is still slow cranking. Did i burn up the starter??

It is possible. Also check all of your cable connections for looseness and corrosion.

check the ground wire that is connected to the cvt cover. The condition you describe is most often caused by a bad/loose ground.
