Question quality of GY6 replacement motors

I've been looking around at getting a spare motor and it's curious that if I buy a motor from TrailMaster it's about $600-700, but i see them at gokart parts stores for under $400... Is there a huge quality gap in these gy6's i wonder...

That is like I want to buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCOOTER-150C...-/181229820688
but you never really know the quality of the metal or where it really comes from.
This is much more in my budget than the $400 from the other more trustworthy dealers who know where their parts come from.
