Default Any way to adjust the brakes on the Helix?

...or do I need to replace the pad(s)? The funny thing is, the brakes *suddenly* became much more easy to press than normal, and there isn't much braking power available. When I say suddenly, I mean in a matter of the next run I made with it; never noticed the brakes so underpowered before. Maybe the cable's slipped or something? The fluid seems just fine, it's about half full and has been that way for years.

What sort of adjustments can I made on this kart? I haven't found anything (yet) in the manual...thanks!

I'd try bleeding them out first to make sure you didn't "grab some air" someway!
