Default go kart runs at low idle then dies when I give it gas

Just what the title says the yerf dog runs at a low idle for a couple seconds then dies, and if I give it gas it dies immediately, im really hoping to fix it today so I could ride it while there is snow on the ground!Could it just be that its is around 30 degrees?? hope someone can help.

Oh were to start ! My first guess would be gas ! check filter , lines and connections.
Next I would pull carb , clean the jets, check for any water in the carb or debree !
My father taught me way back when all motors that run on gas are simple ! Only three things to check ! Gas , Spark , Air , .. One of those 3 will make a motor not run or all three lol

see if you can keep it running with just a touch of gas ---it may just need to warm up ---or else it may be the dreaded carb cleaning time. if it's a primer-bulb 6.5 tec or clone, it seems that once you hit 50 degrees or so and under you need to help them get warmed up for about 20-30 seconds before they'll hold idle.
