speed check with gps
what do I need to hook up my GPS to check my speed on my buggy? Is it as simple as installing a power point like you see in vehicles, and a good mount for the GPS?

Not sure what, kind of GPS do you have. I hold mine in my hand and it will read the satilites then give your appx. mph. Remember the longer distance traveled the more accurate speed you will get.

I would think all you need is a 12v power source, unless you have one with an internal battery, everything else is done via satellite. I found a nifty app for my Android to give speed, direction, etc., along with google maps, just have to fight with cell reception is all.

I think we all should spend a little time in a padded room, you know, just to get our heads right.......
