Default Trying to identify this buggy

Hey all, I just picked up this buggy and another sled that runs for dirt cheap. I'm gonna use the parts to finish up my silver Fox build. The guy I bought it from said it's a Canadian build buggy. I have been searching and find nothing for buggies. Just programs like cart to cars and so on. It's got a tag riveted on it that says casc. Any one know any thing about it?

Don't recognize it. Post some pics of the front and rear of the buggy. Make sure the pics are clear maybe outside in the sun or in better lighting.

Sycarms, I'll get some up this weekend as I'm home with the flu and the buggy is at my dad's at the moment. I plan on getting to work on this thing immediately upon feeling better.

I swear I saw this buggy recently. Did you post somewhere that you were looking to buy it?

I realize you own it now, but I feel like I just read about it somewhere else.

Liduno, you are correct. About Ã* year ago I asked the guys on mini buggy forum if it was worth what the guy was asking. Well needless to say, I went and bought it after finally working out a deal with the guy. I love this site and I don't have to mess with photo bucket to use it. Plus you guys give me straight answers. I'm just trying to find out if it's a home built or if it's a factory made before I make my final decision on whether to chop it up, or build it up. I'm pretty sure that it's home built but that tag is there for some reason

Ok so I'm not crazy...lol

It looks home built to me but hat do I know? I was thinking that tag might be some Canadian registration or something.

Liduno, nope your not crazy that I know of. Lol That's what I was thinking, home built. This guy tryed telling me it's set up for a sled motor lol. When clearly there's bike motor mounts and bike sprocket to turn the cv's. I think you may be right on the Canadian registration. I couldn't really find anything on that name except like racing clubs and gokart and car tracks. Thanks for your input, it's much appreciated

I tried digging on that "CASC" as well with nothing popping up. Do you have a better picture of the tag? any or numbers, pat pending etc? The stylized buggy on the tag makes me think it is a modified production kart of some sort, maybe 1990s.

X_bird, I will get a better picture of the tag. The one I posted is what the guy took and sent me before I bought it.

X-bird, here's a better pic of the tag. It is a registered vehicle. I will get better pics of the buggy it self this weekend. I had my son take this one but he didn't have time to pull it out of the garage.

Canadian Automobile Sports Club. This is what I found when I Goggled CASC Acronym. So it appears to be a home built buggy from Canada

Alright thanks guys for the help. I'm working midnights and moved so I'm only going to be getting probably one day a week to work on my buggy in my original build thread. I'll start updating that soon.
