Default Anybody got an opinion on this?

Looking at an ad on Craigslist... this guy is 7 miles from me... I am looking for something for the GF and I to ride in, while the boys tear it up on theirs...
I dont know much about buggy branding...
Thanks in advance!

IMHO it is over priced. Here is a similar one in the Akron area and I feel it is a little overpriced as well.http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/1570250705.html BTW uship.com is a great route to go if you find something a little further away than you care to travel

Here's another one, but there's no mention of a namebrand...

I think that one is a Carter Talon but not sure, it is hard to tell from those pics. If it is a carter I'd offer lower and go from there if you are interested. The 150's are notorious (at least the ones I have had are) for losing some oil out the vent tubes during riding so you should check the oil after every ride. Mods are definitely cheaper for them though. The most I have ever paid for a 150 is $1000 and I was not thinking clearly that night, and the least was $200, but I've managed to make a little money on every one I've sold.

Surfing around, I am finding a few yerf dogs for around 400.. Maybe I should just buy a couple of those and keep the project sled for myself...LOL (I dont think the GF would appreciate the one seater, as I drove away...lol) Decisions, Decisions...

They sell those on ebay brand new for a lot cheaper. We had one last year. Here's the review on it:

Unfortunately, no... I decided to get the boys into Karting, because I had such fond memories of my old beater kart... and I am SURE it made me a better driver...hahaha
I started checking the ads, and bought an old cart with a roll cage on it...very similar to what I had as far as mechanics go...one drive tire, old style brake... but after shopping and educating myself as to what's out there these days...I think we'd ALL have more fun on a couple of newer style buggys...and they have better brakes...live axles, and look like they would probably ride better too...
So...now I'm gonna clean up the older cart, put some nice pads on the rollbar, tune up the Tecumseh and see how much of my money I can recover...
I also bought a big tire Kart...that looks a little like a Dingo...but I got it so cheap, I couldnt turn it down...and I just bought a 13 horse to go on it, and I got that at a super deal too... so it is a project... lol like I need another project...
I am currently shopping for a couple of buggies...I Like the yerf-dogs... they seem to be a good entry level, and I wont let the boys abuse them too bad at this stage in the game... Ideally, I will find a couple of buggies for the boys, and a slightly bigger one for me and the GF...After all...they cant have ALL the fun...LOL

I'd be curious to see if that dingo style machine will do burnouts!
