Angry Spiderbox steering question

Do all spiderbox karts have a really crappy left turning radius at low speed? Turning to the right seems fine but left turns are horrible, this thing couldn't do a left U turn on a two way street without going up on the sidewalk and its driving me crazy trying to figure out why. The previous owner apparently hit something with the right side and not knowing what parts he may have repaired/replaced I'm trying to get a baseline of the steering on it so I have a starting point, it has a 3" lift installed on it with the ATV hubs and bigger tires and HD ball joints if that makes any difference, I've also had to go thru the front end redo it because the lift kit was installed badly which supports my theory "just because you own a set of tools, that does not make you a mechanic"

I'm going to attempt to cut extra teeth into the one side of the rack, that way I can at least get it to the trails at the back of my property...to check the carb jetting...

There comes a time when your trying to correct other peoples mistakes on a build, that you just need to tear it down and start over from scratch...lol
