Default Crossfire 150 wont start with semi weak battey

Ok so crossfire wont start without being jumped or hooking battery charger up....What baffles me is the fact that motor spins plenty fast to crank but refuses to crank without help....even battery charger on 2 amp is enough for it to crank first turn....and the motor does not spin anyfaster with charger or jumper cables.

Its never charged right since ive had it....tried 3 different stators...1 6P 2 new 8P several different regulators.

Best ive got is almost 13 volts 3/4 throttle and above.

Ac fired..once cranked will run without battery.

Have yerfdog that starter is so weak it barely turns over but fires right up after one to two turns.....puts out 14 volts at all rpms...even extremly low idle.

Im stumped.
