Default Gy6 150cc Idle

Does anyone know how to get a more consistent idle speed in the cold weather on the Helix Gy6 150cc engine?
I installed a dial-a-jet kit and that works really well for lean running (definately adds more power), but does not address the wandering idle.

Sounds like the carb could use a good cleaning, also check the fuel filter, fuel lines, and the petcock filter. Also check for vacum leaks around the intake and all the vacum lines.
