Default talon wont start

Just bought a used talons 150 cc. Had no spark. Fixed that but still won't start. The carb was very dirty. Cleaned it three times. I have fuel in the bowl but it does not seem to be leaving there. Will start and run on starter fluid but dies immediately. Any other ideas.

Thank you. I will remove the carb and check it. Thought I cleaned everything pretty good. My wife just informed me I don't do a good job cleaning anything so I better do it again.

You really need to soak those jets and if they are really bad, flat out replace them. they will have a numbr on them indicating what size they are. I have been able to clean about 95% of the jets that I have seen though. Make sure you do not attempt using a drill bit on that pilot jet. It is very sensitive to size changes. In addition, it's not always just the jets that are clogged. It can be the passageways that the jets are passing fuel to. Carbs passage ways are best cleaned with compressed air.

You really need to soak the whole carb in some carb dip overnight then blow all orifices out with compressed air. You may have the jets clean but still have blockage in the passages.
