Default Carbide 150cc help

Hey guys this is my first post here so bear with me, I just got a used carbide 150cc and was wondering of some ways to get mor low end without taking to much top. Also anyexperience you have with the cart and tips on what to look out for and stuff like that. Also, if I was to get offroad lights for the front and hook them up will it kill my battery or does it have a alternator type thing. Thanks!!

Well just look at my signature, those are some good mods down there... I also got some 55w halogens and those things are awesome! They make a huge difference when you're upgrading them from the 25w that come with it.

those 55w lights are drawing over 5 amps EACH so be carefull to make sure you have a decent amp/hr battery. depending on how long you are running those lights it may take it's toll on your battery.
i run LED lights....much less amperage draw and last much longer but they are more expensive.
you may want to upgrade your battery to a 12 or 14a/hr if it's not already.
