Default trailmaster 250 cc

there is a local man that has a trailmaster 250cc cart, and is asking $1400 for it. I have no idea what these types are worth. he sent me some pics today and it doesnt look too bad other than some surface rust places on it. just curious would that be a DEAL OR NO DEAL? LOL

Does it say Trailmaster on it, cause it looks more like the Roketa buggy which was made by Sunl(out of business). Kinroad made the Trailmaster which was their cheaper line of the 250 buggy. Price sounds kind of high.

just make sure to run through the buggymasters buggy buying checklist before you buy it

looks pretty good but looks can be deceiving

ive got 3 craigslist adds open right now in my browser where the 250's are going for about 1000-1200 so i think he might be a little high

also what year is it

hey Z man, I know it is a 250 and all, but it is a solid rear axle. I want a 250 too, but I want IRS. Just throwing that out there.

If it's running its worth a lot more than $1400 in my state.

Off topic, but I want to see someone convert a swingarm solid axle to a 4 link style suspension system. I think it would be an easy convert, but who knows.

as far as the straight axle on it, that is no problem for me, I don't ride the trails that much. I met a guy last week that says he has 14 acres and I can come ride on his land. I would be able to test all my buggies there.

okay, then great. I hope all works out for you. With 250 power and a straight axle, you will be the drift king.

The buggy will do 40 tops. And for future reference don't get too excited when buying one always keeping on the defensive. I have more customers call me with the story they purchased a buggy and were told either ( it's been sitting a year or so and the battery is bad or the cable, chain or whatever is broken but I have a new one to go with the buggy) When they get it home they find the engine is shot or the tranny torn up after installing the cable, chain or whatever. Further more they come to realize after calling around and hours of searching the internet that parts are no longer available for that buggy. If you cannot drive it no matter what shape its in only offer &2-300.00 for it. People today are desperate for cash and will tell you anything just to sell it. Once you buy it it's yours. Call them on it and they will just tell you, "well its been setting for sometime and the kids or wife told me it just quit running or the cable or chain just broke, I told you what I knew about it sorry for the problems you found but it's still a good buggy". As I said I can think of 30 customers this year alone who call looking for parts when none are available. The people selling it know this when they sell it to you. So buyer beware.
