Default Carbide seats upgrade for Helix a good choice

I want to replace the seats in my Helix and want a seat with thicker padding and more comfortable for long rides. For you owners of the carbide how do you like your seats? Are the seat cushons thicker then your usual bench type gokart seats? I'd greatly appreciate your input.

this is a great question. We are considering doing the same for our helix. I will say that the carbide was one of the more comfortable machines we have had. About the same as the hammerhead 200GT, it has a nice incline to it.

I own/collect coin-op arcade games, and have lots and lots of parts. Among the parts are a lot of arcade seats. Interestingly enough, a bunch of racing games use the same seats as some karts I've seen. I have quite a few of these...

laying around. I am thinking about mounting a pair in my Yerf Dog project, or possibly just one, center mounted.

Here are some shots of my home arcade. I have a lot more machines out in the wild earning money...these are just some in my personal collection.

OFF TOPIC: If anyone wants games, I'll swap games for karts. I have a few of the newer sit-down driving games, fighting games, and a big Sega sit-down flight simulator that are ready to go right now.
