Default wont turn over

got new battery charged it wont turn over replaced clutch could that be the problem sound like everything is grinding in the gear box sounds like i have troubles

is the grinding you hear from trying to start it or coming from the gear box? test the battery to make sure you have a full charge. if so, then it could be the starter solenoid or even the starter. if it's grinding, i would lean more towards the starter. the solenoid would make more of a clicking sound when it tries to engage the starter. make sure all your wires are connected good. a bad ground could cause the starter not to engage too. try these things and follow up and let us know what happens.

will do thought maybe i should take clutch off to see if its too tight its like it wont turn and battery leads get hot

what kind of buggy/engine do you have? unless the belt and clutch are frozen it shouldn't keep the engine from turning over. you could disconnect the belt just to be sure and then try it.

the gy6 150cc yes the grind is like the gears it turns for a little but then just like not enough power to turn it and i got a new battery and its charged 100 % its a loud grind not normal i could move clutch by hand

im not a mechnic but can follow directions i got the clutch on by watching buggy masters vid thats why i love this site

i have grounds hooked to clutch box clean ground no paint on ground part

take the sparkplug out then try cranking
if still weak pull starter next and test it

ty well i took off clutch plate and my front clutch wheel was grinding on cover is that one shot now or can it still work with that front outside wheel ground down a little?
